If I were a superhero-my power would be a Tidal-clean wave. Messes so easily sap the joy out of life. I could just stroll by and a wake of clean would be behind me. Mom's could get out Play-dough without checking the calendar or time first. People would adopt more puppies. Messy traffic accidents–they would call ME instead of insurance people! A little hug at bed-time instead of Brillo-level scrubbing would certainly have my boys happier too! Everyone would invite me over for nice quiet chats before they have company coming. That way their house would be clean AND I could have the one-on-one talk and skip the crowded social thing. win. win. win and win!
Dandelions
Over the climbing meadows,
Where swallow-shadows float,
These are the
small gold buttons
On earth’s green, windy coat.

What would your super hero name be? And would you work my region of the country? 😉

The name would need more thought than the powers–you know how I hate cliche’ names. I would consider it my DUTY to bring my tsunami of orderliness to your area! (and I would stand around in the same pose as Mr. Clean does on the bottle-only with hair-streaked hair)

Boy oh boy do I need you here to take care of this mess. I just can’t figure out where everything goes. And I could use being calmly talked to, I feel like I am running on a tread mill, not losing weight and not getting anywhere. And everything is just sitting around and it won’t get up and put itself away.

You know, Mary, you should hire a couple of middle-school girls to come cart stuff around and shove it onto shelves etc for you-you can refine later and be more comfy in the meantime.

I’d rather have D’Mom, SuperHero.

DMom,
You are brillant. When you get those powers, head on out to WA. We actually have those signs here. Being from MN, it was so odd to see them the first time we headed out to the coast.
Now, if you brought your super powers here, it would be a win-win. My house would be put back together, a much appreciate feat considering the mess from our little trip last week. For you, you could enjoy cool days with no humidity. And, if you cleaned up all my messes, I’d have time to cook you some yummy food. Oh, and with that clean up superpower, I wouldn’t have dishes. So after we ate the yummy food, we could sit outside and knit. . .WITHOUT getting eaten alive by mosquitoes.
Alas, no knock on my door from you. I’d better tackle that mess I was talking about. You visiting would be so much better.

I was wondering the same thing as Betty. I have seen a comment here and there.
