Cool postcard. I could never show you my sewing areas if you think that is messy.

I’m drooling over the sewing corner. Maybe I can have one of those in our new house…whenever we find a house…

OH! show me Mary!! Do you have project ideas and “stash” and leftovers from previous projects ummm…within easy reach?? My sewing area is in my guest-room (the girls’ have their machines in there too)-we put them ALL away when cumpnys a comin-you can tell exactly how long it has been since we have had company by the detritus build-up!
Nothing floating your boat yet NOTSO? Those military jobs come with periodic built-in homelessness don’t they?I will keep checking your blog to see how the search is going-and praying too-it was Arlngton right? and UPhill from the bus-stop-wait-then coming home would be hard…hhmmm…
You know what I think the problem is Jody? It’s that we are expected to keep track of everyones stuff AND ours AND they keep rearranging it all–hard on the ol’ brain! I admit to getting sarcastic about it too “Mooommmmyyyyy-where’s my big sand-bucket–the greeeen ooooneee???!!” ” In my pocket and YOU can’t have it!”

Mary
I have an idea–the next time you lose something, walk around your house taking pictures and we detectives will locate it for you through our keen observational skills.

Oh, you just reminded me that I DO have the tacky little New York goody you asked for, Dandelionmom. Now I’ve just got to remember where I put it so I can send it to you. Hmmm….this might be a job for Marple and Marple. I’ll get some pictures taken and send ‘em to the agency. This is gonna be a tough case to crack, but I have confidence in the keen observational skills of my detective buddies.

THAT my friend sounds like a land-mine zone! I asked for really tacky right? what if one of the Marple squared detective agency detectives picks out the WRONG item in a picture? something you think is actually coool? I am not so sure this is a case we can take-what say you MO Marple? MN Marple will defer to your wisdom

I see your point, Miss MN Marple. One gal’s tacky is another gal’s treasure after-all. We wouldn’t want to ruin any friendships over this case. How ’bout I just figure this one out on my own? Oh, and if I do a good job maybe I can can join the agency as Miss OK Marple. Whaddaya say, friends?!
Oh, btw, isn’t it about time for a phone call? I’m DYING here, woman!!!!!

Tami
Dandelionmom, I am green with envy over that sewing area. I’ll need to show my husband. If I could get my crap, oh I mean, craft area organized it would make my very tidy military husband so very happy.

I know what you mean Tami! My man looooved buying the stuff for that peg-wall deally–and installing it! I think he loves the stuff as much as I do my plastic totes!–I also bought some of those tall plastc drawer units and lined the back of the closet with them for my fabric stash etc–its an old-fashioned closet (long and narrow with the opening in the front on the end) so I can’t see well in there but I know where to go anyway!
one drawer is full of the paper-crafting stuff I never use and kinda hate and another is kid crafting bits and bobs and I have a yarn one too-and old patterns etc–I also (ahem) have a stack on top of the drawers waiting to find a home within. There is exact;y enough room in front of the drawers to slide in my machines and the girls’ machines and the tools etc we keep in boxes beside them. Pretty slick really….if I could transfer the principle to toys I would be GOLDEN!
