I saw this cute list on momlovesbeingathome’s place. Time to start gearin up for storm season and check those flashlight batteries etc. Her post is fun and funny -while it is a bit early for us northlanders, our time’s a comin’. Everyone around here (even those transplanted for more than a year!) can point to tornado damage and tell the story. Isn’t weather fun? We get such variation here-my fav is the thunder-snow-shower –amazing! And the list is right on the money when it says we can’t understand how anyone can live in an earthquake prone area! What’s your favorite way to view God’s power? Did you ever sing How Great Thou Art because you heard thunder?

Where swallow-shadows float,
These are the
small gold buttons
On earth’s green, windy coat.

Thanks for the link! I’m glad you liked it.
It’s definitely not too early where I am! We’ve already had several big storms!
God’s power is an amazing thing isn’t it!!

I am SO ready for a good thunder-boomer and even a wall-cloud on the horizon to get the hair on my neck standin! We got snow last night and howlin’ winds! Spring is SO fickle–she plays peek-a-boo for 2 months and then it is over 80 and summer!

Me, me, me…I do the “How Great Thou Art” thing!! But you already new that, didn’t you?
Today I’m singing Everyone knows it’s Windy! Can you guess why?
Who’s peekin’ out from under a stairway
Calling a name that’s lighter than air
Who’s bending down to give me a rainbow
Everyone knows it’s Windy…
Remember that one?!
